Voters don't know what the word means. So don't make political decisions based on it. Sure, it worked in the 20th century to cause revolutions. And pretty much every century before. Call me when people are hungry. In a post-industrial, post-modern economy, when material needs are essentially met, even amongst the poor; and the biggest public health threat is obesity, voters don't want to hear your abstract theories. But mostly, they aren't __that__ mad about their circumstances to listen to you, a guy who looks like the guy who fires them, tell them how you'll fix the world. They want to know what you're going to do about the problem they understand.
